xAmbience Pro v1.00rc1 - Released
Hi everyone,
We are glad to release a xAmbience Pro v1.00rc1 today.
This release is not final, it is a still work-in-progress version which is just public and available for all. This version contains a number of limitations and known issues.

Product is only for X-Plane 11.
xAmbience Pro is a continuation of the xAmbience product line that replaces the legacy version. The main efforts in this version we have done on reworking the clouds, the sky, as well as adding new features. xAmbience Pro releasing as a free update for all users of xAmbience Legacy version.
Today we will overview the highlights of all of this.
New Clouds in xAmbience Pro
In the clouds system, we redo everything. Now they do not move apart when you fly through them, all the rendering is accompanied by eye-candy lighting. In this version we have implemented the ability to highlight the lower clouds from the city lights, and now when you fly over a metropolis and the light is sufficiently polluted, you will see this reflection on the clouds and fog.
New xAmbience Pro’s Sky
There was a total overhaul. We added realistic sunsets and sunrises, we reworked the visibility simulation, added interaction with clouds, we added a completely new upper (high altitudes atmosphere).
Custom Environmental Effects
This is a completely new page. Custom effects of rain and snow have been added (there will be no more old effect flashing in the night). All effects have a 3 presets.
Weather Engine comes to xAmbience Pro
xAmbience Legacy users knows, before there was no built-in weather engine in the product. There were only graphic environment tweaks. Now its changes with a built in weather engine. He takes data from servers, downloads them himself at a set time interval, and having a numerous tweaks. Its main feature is the change of weather softly. This feature makes it possible not to feel sharp "flashes" of clouds and atmosphere during the flight.
New Interface
Like the whole plugin, which is built on a completely new platform of interfaces (not only graphic, but primarily systems and code), we have added a new GUI. Its main differences from the old one are that it is simply more convenient, more compact and more informative. The focus has been on putting all the features together and making the platform as easy to use as possible.
